Bertrand Kaper M.D.Dr. Kaper is one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in Arizona and the Southwest for hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery. He has been in private practice in Arizona since 1999- having performed more than 10,000 surgeries. Combining minimally invasive therapies with highly advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Kaper is able to help patients quickly return to a full and active lifestyle.
Robotic-assisted with NAVIO offers patients the most up-to-date technology for both total and partial knee replacements, while the Direct Anterior (DA) approach provides the least invasive technique for hip replacement available.
Dr. Kaper is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (www.abos.org) and fellowship-trained in adult reconstructive surgery, specifically joint replacement surgery. He serves as Chief of the Orthopaedic Surgery section at HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical Center, in Scottsdale. His clinics serve both the Scottsdale/Phoenix metropolitan area and Yavapai County at two conveniently located offices.

For the Hip(s)
A total hip replacement may be recommended for patients who experience severe hip pain and whose daily lives are significantly affected.
